Continue self-education and training in lending and deposit compliance, keeping informed of regulatory changes. • Fostering strong relationships and building trust with internal partners to enhance collaboration. • Responsible for establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure the Bank’s compliance program is effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations. • Develop an annual compliance work plan that reflects the Bank’s unique characteristics and regulatory risks. • Ensure risk assessments are completed timely and accurately identify regulatory compliance risks. • Serve as primary point of contact for regulatory compliance examinations and compliance audits performed by third-party auditors. • Prepare reports for our Risk Management and Audit Committees summarizing relevant compliance concerns Position Requirements and Qualifications: Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s preferred. High school or GED equivalent required. • Ten years or more related experience and/or training in banking compliance or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) preferred. Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): • None Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Competence in lending legal requirements. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Microsoft Office skills.
