Description Are you passionate about making a difference in students’ lives? We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for the upcoming school year. Opportunities are available for full-time, part-time, or remote/virtual positions. New graduates are encouraged to apply... Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Education, with a Master's or Doctoral degree in Special Education or a related field. • Special Education teachers may specialize in areas such as K-12th grade, mild-moderate levels, or severe autism. Endorsements in these areas may be required. • Experience with student evaluations, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). • Active Special Education State Teaching License is required. • For virtual positions, a state license, 2 years of school experience, and an education certificate may be required. • Teaching credential with any of the six Special Education endorsements. Job Details • Start Date: 2024-2025 School Year • Hours: Full-time and part-time positions available • Caseload: Specific details will be discussed during the interview process Responsibilities • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs. • Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities, adapting methods to meet individual learning goals. • Assess student progress, adjust curriculum materials, and apply behavior management techniques to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
