This role is fully remote with the odd trip to the office for meetings or training. As an Accident Benefits Adjuster, you'll work from the comfort of your home in Ontario, taking on the following responsibilities: Conduct thorough investigations, evaluations, negotiations, settlements, and administration of all accident benefit claims. Skillfully handle both MIG and non-MIG files, up to the point of CAT (Catastrophic Impairment). Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and discoveries as valuable learning experiences. Qualifications: Possess post-secondary education. Minimum of 2 years of experience handling AB claims is required. Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes. Solid understanding of SABS (Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong general computer knowledge. Possession of CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) designation or working towards it is considered an asset.
