About the position The HR System Consultant is a remote position responsible for providing technical and functional support for Mercy's HR-specific applications. This role involves collaborating with various HR partners to enhance existing systems and develop new processes that meet business needs. The consultant will lead projects, manage system configurations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality customer service to internal stakeholders. Responsibilities Collaborate with leaders and business partners to develop solutions for HR operations. , Administer and configure Workday and manage HR-specific system projects. , Provide oversight on interfaces, updates, and workflows, implementing new processes as needed. , Support HR operational processing and maintenance, researching and implementing process improvements. , Document and update operational procedures, scripts, and specifications. , Participate in system upgrades, implementations, or customizations as required. , Maintain knowledge of compliance and regulatory changes impacting HR requirements. , Provide high-level customer service and training to internal customers, troubleshooting complex issues. , Investigate system and data standardization issues, recommending process enhancements. , Coordinate system processes with the MTS team to ensure proper change management steps are followed. , Research and recommend new technology opportunities for automation within systems. , Lead projects and teams consistently. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in HR Systems, Information Technology, HR Operations, or HR Shared Services. , 3+ years of relevant Workday experience strongly preferred; one Workday certification strongly preferred. , BS degree required or equivalent experience. , Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, finance, information technology, or other analytical field strongly preferred.
