Our client, a prestigious Am Law firm, is seeking a Senior Staff Attorney to join their Litigation team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the firm's eDiscovery, AI, and Information Governance practice group to support large-scale litigation, investigatory, and regulatory matters during the discovery phase. This is not a doc review role: this is a position that is client-facing, and ideally someone who has been a litigation associate in the past. That said, strong technical prowess in Relativity is required as this role will partner with case teams on matter-specific processes and managing structured data, as well as preservation. The successful candidate will have significant eDiscovery experience in top law firms or consulting environments, both sit in and be licensed in DC, NY, MA, or CA, possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and have a solid understanding of eDiscovery workflows and document review systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cases and contribute to the success of the firm's clients. This is a fully remote role, but candidates must live near an office. Duties & Responsibilities Coordinates with internal practice teams to ensure that case-specific eDiscovery processes are implemented and milestones are met Facilitates communication between the Staff Attorney department and the associates and partners responsible for the case Works with the firms litigation support group and eDiscovery vendors to support document preservation, collection, and processing efforts Assists in preparation of privilege logs and other similar tasks attendant to document review and production projects Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Significant eDiscovery experience in AMLAW 100 or 200 firm environments working on large litigation, regulatory, or investigation matters at all phases of the EDRM Current good standing in the DC, NY, MA, or CA Bar Litigation experience, including responsibilities associated with discovery Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills related to project coordination Strong service orientation Ability to work under pressure and a willingness to work additional hours and help others with deadline intensive projects is required Strong working knowledge of discovery document review projects and typical work-flows Significant experience with on-line document review systems such as Relativity, Nuix Discover, or other similar document review software platforms Significant experience with Excel Education A JD from an accredited U.S. law school or the equivalent is required Expected salary for this exempt role is $150,000 - $175,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
