The Vendor Management Associate role will be focused on resolving escalations with vendors and internal stakeholders, onboarding & training vendors, and helping with internal and cross-function projects in various capacities within Doorstead. Youll be contributing to process improvements as we build towards a world-class scalable tech-focused property management system. Were looking for an experienced Vendor Management associate with residential renovation experience, a passion for real estate, strong organizational skills, process-oriented thinking, and a desire to join a fast-paced high-growth startup. This role is fully remote. Responsibilities Include Sourcing and generating new leads for new vendors per market and trade Vet, onboard, and develop partnerships with maintenance vendors to grow the reliable network Conducting training with new vendors and ensuring they are prepared to execute within the structure Doorstead has created Presenting training material via both Zoom and phone Ensuring compliance and understanding of Doorstead systems and requests Revising training platforms and material along with Vendor and Operations teams Escalation resolution across all operations teams Working with teams responsible for the renovation, maintenance, and owner contact to find amicable solutions where vendors are involved Billing, quality, and execution concerns where a voice needs to be involved on behalf of the vendor or vendor management team Quality assurance management and evaluation for vendors across the platform Reviewing surveys both internal and external for trend identification and outlier concerns Reporting upstream internally to operations leadership and including proactive solutions for issues identified Support strategic process initiatives as an advocate for the vendors, vendor team, and leadership in order to evolve the department toward long-term stabilized success. Plan and implement streamlined processes, focusing on repeatable actions in an evolving model that spans various municipalities Develop metrics and tracking systems to determine success or opportunities to improve across all current and future initiatives This role has been categorized as a Remote position. Remote employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Doorstead. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role. In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is $56,625 to $64,938, Annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance, and location.
