Learn More Position Title Instructor of Nursing About this Opportunity The School of Nursing welcomes Masters-prepared RN applicants with clinical experience for part-time, Muncie campus-based, adjunct faculty positions. Work assignments, days, times, and locations vary. Faculty responsibilities include teaching in classroom, clinical, and/or simulation environments in baccalaureate courses for adult health, medical-surgical, psychiatric mental health, pediatrics, critical care, childbearing families, and other areas as needed and appropriate. This is not an online/remote position. Work assignments, days, times, and locations vary. Faculty responsibilities include teaching in classroom, clinical, and/or simulation environments in baccalaureate courses for adult health, medical-surgical, psychiatric mental health, pediatrics, critical care, childbearing families, and other areas as needed and appropriate. This is not an online/remote position. Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in nursing from an accredited college or university by the date of appointment; Clinical nursing experience in area of teaching; Ability to communicate effectively; and Ability to use and integrate technology in nursing education. Authorization to work in the US Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Teaching experience in higher education; Earned doctorate in nursing or related field from an accredited college or university; Current clinical practice as an NP. Required Certifications/Licensures Current unencumbered State of Indiana Registered Nurse License by date of appointment.
