Responsibilities include:
- Direct American Express EIRP teams in both the US and UK.
- Build an adaptive team with the right people, processes, and technology to excel in internal and external investigations, incident response, and driving mitigation of any associated risks
- Collaborate across technology and business departments and influence the direction of incident response decisions with a business/regulatory compliance approach
- Ensure incident response plans and procedures are maintained and followed, while driving alignment to applicable compliance laws and regulatory requirements
- Confident leading conference calls with large numbers of stakeholders, including C-suite
- Mature Key Program Metrics through a reporting strategy and platform that meets business and global market compliance needs
- Mentor, encourage, and develop a diverse team with different experience levels to support personal and professional growth
- Cultivate an inclusive and growth mindset culture
Minimum Qualifications:
- Passion for cyber security, incident response, data privacy, governance, risk, and compliance
- Authority in incident handling, forensic investigation enablement/management, data privacy, and global cyber regulatory compliance requirements
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of Incident Response lifecycles and Incident Handling (NIST, SANS) processes
- Ability to convey complex incident response concepts to audiences with varying levels of technical or business knowledge
- Desire to grow and expand both technical and soft skills
- After hours issues and on-call responsibilities may be required periodically
- Some international travel may be required annually

- Formal external Certifications including, but not limit to: CISM, CISA, CISSP
