About the position Eagan Insurance Agency is looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Insurance Claims Adjuster to manage insurance claims from initial reporting to resolution. The role focuses on ensuring fair and timely settlements for clients, requiring excellent investigative skills and a customer-focused approach. Responsibilities • Investigate, evaluate, and process insurance claims in accordance with company policies and industry standards. , • Review documentation, including police reports, medical records, and estimates, to determine the validity and extent of claims. , • Conduct interviews with claimants, witnesses, and third parties to gather relevant information. , • Negotiate settlements with policyholders and vendors, ensuring fairness and compliance with policy terms. , • Coordinate with legal teams and external experts as needed to assess complex claims. , • Document claim activities and maintain detailed records in the claims management system. , • Provide exceptional customer service, keeping policyholders informed throughout the claims process. , • Identify potential fraud and escalate suspicious claims for further investigation. , • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance products. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in insurance or claims adjusting. , • Proven experience as an Insurance Claims Adjuster, preferably in property, casualty, or auto claims. , • Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail. , • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to work effectively with policyholders, vendors, and legal teams. , • Familiarity with claims management software and industry regulations. , • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. , • Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage terms, and claims procedures. , • Certification or licensure as required by state regulations (if applicable).
