Job Title: Event Assistant (Part-Time) – Cape Girardeau Job Summary: Our company, American Heart Association, is seeking a dedicated part-time Event Assistant for our office located in Cape Girardeau. This is a part-time position which requires a commitment of fewer than 4 hours a day. Description: The Event Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Event Manager in planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring that events run smoothly, and that the goals of each event are met. Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and execution of events Coordinate with vendors and service providers Ensure that event set-up and tear-down are completed in a timely manner Assist with guest registration and attendee management Handle any event-related inquiries or issues Requirements: Excellent organizational skills Strong communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team player with a positive attitude Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Management or a related field would be an advantage Experience: Prior experience in an administrative or event planning role is preferred but not required.
