We're seeking a dynamic individual with a passion for data analytics and problem-solving to join our team. You'll leverage your data expertise, programming skills, and critical thinking to tackle complex challenges and explore innovative uses of available data. Collaborating closely with investigators, you'll contribute to the design of research studies, develop analytic datasets, and deliver... high-quality data products to our customers on schedule. Your role will involve active participation in assessing, recommending, implementing, and troubleshooting data solutions, with a particular focus on health research or healthcare analytics. Experience with SQL and/or SAS programming and familiarity with electronic health records or healthcare claims data will be key assets in this role. Job Duties Perform intricate data extraction, manipulation, and summarization from large databases to support research activities. Contribute to the design, testing, and validation of complex data structures from various source systems. Communicate analytical content, results, and recommendations effectively to project teams with varying levels of technical expertise. Develop summarized findings and recommendations tailored to diverse audiences. Collaborate on the development of complex phenotype algorithms and prioritize focus areas based on data analysis. Demonstrate expertise in research methodology and data collection techniques. Proactively communicate complexities associated with data requests to stakeholders. Oversee all phases of analytical programming, data management, quality control, and reporting. Independently identify and resolve problems using interactive troubleshooting techniques. Ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness of data and analysis in all work. Position Details Highly Preferred Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience building clinical healthcare data from large EHR datasets. Minimum 3 years of SQL or SAS programming experience, with SQL proficiency highly preferred.
