About Homeward Buying a home should be an exciting milestone. But all too often, it’s stressful, especially in a competitive market or when you’re buying and selling at the same time. About the Opportunity We’re seeking a manager for our mortgage tech team to lead the team into the next evolution of our mortgage technology stack. Over the last 12 months the team and tech-stack has rapidly evolved and Homeward needs a tech leader with a deep understanding in mortgage technology and familiarity with the dynamic tech landscapes of a startup. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. In this role, you will: • Work as a liaison between cross functional team leadership and technology specialists • Orchestrate the tech scoping conversations and delegation deliverables to direct reports • Work with cross-product teams to evaluate impacts on other enterprise systems • Translate technical requirements into JIRA tickets through scoping meetings with cross-functional partners and program managers • Facilitate technical design review oversight meetings with direct reports • Help grow the careers of our mortgage technology specialists What you’ll bring: • 10+ years of experience within Mortgage and Title technology industry • Experience leading technology-focused teams • Proven track record of managing and growing a tech team • Ability to work in rapidly changing tech-stack • Open to collaboration and input from cross functional team • An understanding of how to translate problems from business partners into technical solutions Our Values THE GOLDEN RULE Whether we’re dealing with colleagues or customers, we follow The Golden Rule, treating others the way we want to be treated.
