This position is fully remote and is designed for individuals looking to start their career in financial analysis, particularly in the IT field. Responsibilities Analyze results of studies, reports, and analyses. , Prepare complex financial analysis projects to summarize current and projected financial information. , Research and prepare financial reports. , Manage and review the preparation, accuracy, and timeliness of monthly financial analysis. , Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions. , Assist in the preparation and submission of budgets and forecasts. , Establish, modify, document, and implement methods and control procedures. , Assist other analysts, consultants, and managers with complex analysis. , Share technical expertise with others and recommend process improvements. , Provide functional advice or training to less experienced financial analysts. Requirements Broad knowledge of core Finance principles and basic understanding of the corporate accounting process (forecast, invoicing, chargeback, accruals, etc.), preferably with experience in IT. , Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver output exercising judgment and discretion consistently. , Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field. , 5+ years' experience in accounting and finance preferred, with some financial management experience required. , Strong analytical and quantitative data-analysis skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions. , Strong to expert skills in data transformation using MS Excel or Access. , Ability to work well both independently and in teams. , Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal.
