The Director, Supply Chain - Manufacturing is responsible for achieving manufacturing canning facility operatives while ensuring the safety of our people, workplace and environment and meeting all company, legal and other requirements. Functionally responsible for production, quality assurance, maintenance, and inventory departments. Develop initiatives to achieve performance, quality, and safety standards and ensure achievement of manufacturing goals. Work with account management teams for planning and forecast of new business. Maximize productive capabilities to achieve customer satisfaction while attaining operating costs and goals. Manage and implement change to ensure continuous improvement. Responsibilities • Develop initiatives to achieve performance, quality, and safety standards and ensure achievement of manufacturing goals. • Work with sales for planning and forecast of new business. • Maximize productive capabilities to achieve customer satisfaction while attaining operating cost and goals. • Manage and implement change to ensure continuous improvement; Operational Excellence plan • Makes strategic investment in capital to achieve improvement in performance measures, productivity, and asset preservation. • Translates customer and corporate priorities into achievable objectives for Work Unit. • Personally directs and coaches managers; assures coaching and development occurs throughout the organization. • Infrastructure development plan to include IT/SAP, and plant floor manufacturing execution system • Lead facility employee engagement and drive Liberty’s Purpose, Vision and Values Requirements • College Degree in Engineering or Business not required but is preferred. • Must have 8 to 10 years of successful management experience encompassing all facets of operations management. • Must have a strong understanding of budgetary development and management. • Must be a strong team player and motivated problem solver. • Must have clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal. • Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. • Must be computer literate. • Must have the ability to constructively interact with others to resolve issues and improve the operation. • Must have strategic vision and understand tactics necessary to achieve company goals. • Must promote and foster a diverse working environment. • Must have beverage canning experience.
